Mintek is South Africa’s national mineral research organisation and one of the world’s leading technology organisations specialising in mineral processing, extractive metallurgy and related areas.
Mintek was established as a national mineral research organisation with the mission being to support the South African minerals industry. It operates under the executive authority of the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy.

Internships: Mintek provides internship opportunities for recent graduates to acquire essential work experience in a research setting with the support of seasoned mentors. The duration of internships ranges from 12 to 24 months.
A monthly stipend is paid to assist with financial needs. All interns will receive mentorship and exposure to a range of mineral processing and extractive metallurgy projects.
Regular jobs: Apart from internships, Mintek is also seeking to employ suitably qualified professionals, technicians and engineers in fields that include:
