The  Administrator: Tax Data Analyst will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

Processing indirect taxes
–   Extract the required information to enable preparation and completion of indirect tax returns
–   Completion of indirect tax returns on behalf of Opco/SSH and submission for review
–   Preparation of supporting schedules for indirect tax returns

Processing Direct taxes
–   Help with the preparation of schedules for the direct tax calculations
–   Follow up on queries related to direct taxes with other SSH service delivery teams
–   Liaise with Opco/SSH tax departments to ensure required timelines are met (as per service level agreement)

Reporting and Audits
–   Preparation of indirect taxes reconciliations for Opco/SSH
–   Generating adhoc reporting required for Opco/SSH to manage indirect taxes
–   Generating reports required for assistance in the regulatory audits 

Customer Service
–   Liaise with the local Opco/SSH tax department to ensure compliance with tax reporting deadlines
–   Management of SLA (service level agreement) timelines to ensure effectiveness of service

Governance: Adhoc Meetings
–   Participate and provide inputs in adhoc meetings
–   Execute day-to-day operations

–   Ability to work in a team
–   Responsible for self-learning and development with guidance from Supervisor
–   Ensure an ‘MTN centric’ and a partnership approach to develop strong relationships with other working groups

SSH Operational 
–   Resolve operational issues



–   Diploma in Commerce and/or equivalent
–   Tertiary Qualification (preferred)

–   1-2 years of tax experience
