Sasol Mining is offering apprenticeship opportunities to internal individuals who have a good technical mindset and interested in becoming an Electro Mechanic in mining.
Purpose of the job
As an apprentice, you will train and develop to become a qualified Millwright technician according to the requirements of the relevant SETA and National Moderation Board.
About the Apprenticeship
Your training will include the following:
- Electrical Equipment
- Mechanical Equipment
- Maintenance of underground production equipment
- Safety prerequisites for equipment
- Good housekeeping
Qualifications
- Complete National Senior Certificate with passes in
- Mathematics/ Technical Mathematics
- English/ Business English
- Technical/ Physical Science
OR
- An N3 Certificate equivalent to Grade 12 which includes
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Business English/ Communications
