WIL Programme Overview
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife invites qualifying unemployed graduates to apply for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme 2024. There are 72 posts available for application, in various study fields.
Closing date: 01 July 2024
Stipend: R6,000 per month will be paid to the learners during the course of the WIL Programme. Programme duration is 12 – 24 months, depending on study field.
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, in partnership with Tourism World, intends to implement a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme which is funded by the National Skills Fund.
About Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife
Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife is the provincial agency mandated to carry out biodiversity conservation and associated activities in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in the Republic of South Africa.
The primary focus of the organisation is biodiversity conservation – the management of more than 120 protected areas which include two World Heritage Sites which are the Maloti-Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site and the Isimangaliso Wetland Park World Heritage Site.
WIL Programme Requirements
To qualify for the WIL programme, you must:
- Be unemployed and residing in KwaZulu-Natal
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed a qualification mentioned in the table above
- Be available for the prescribed duration
Drivers licence will be advantageous.

Candidates from within a 10 km radius of the relevant Ezemvelo offices/ nature reserves/ resorts will be given preference.
Candidates wishing to apply for the programme outside their area of residence must be willing to find their own accommodation and transportation (subject to location)

Application Procedure: Applicants are required to fill in the attached application form (herewith attached) and are also required to provide copies of the following documents:

- An abridged CV of not more than 3 pages
- Drivers licence
