Hortgro invites South African learners to apply for the Bursary Programme 2025.

Hortgro’s bursary programme is designed to develop, educate, and train individuals in critical areas of agriculture. The programme offers:

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Hortgro bursary, applicants must be:
- Studying towards an accredited qualification in one of the critical skill areas.
- Interested in pursuing a career in agriculture in the study fields mentioned below.

- Agricultural Economics
- Horticulturist (Production/Post-harvest)
- Agricultural Biotechnology
- Soil and Water Scientist
- Marketing Specialist
- Agricultural-Science
- Project Management
- Entomology
- Agri-Management
- Microbiology
- Plant Pathology
The bursary programme is aligned with scarce and critical skills and preference will be given to students studying towards these disciplines.
