Zibo Containers (Pty) Ltd is recruiting and invites unemployed graduates to apply for the Engineer-in-Training Programme 2024.

Zibo Containers is a manufacturer of rigid plastic containers, in a range of colours, for a wide variety of requirements predominantly in the food packaging industry.
Products, both for the domestic and export markets, are manufactured in their facilities in Cape Town and Johannesburg which include distribution branches in Durban and Port Elizabeth.
Qualifications
- BEng. / BSc. / B Tech in either Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical / Mechatronic disciplines,
- Strong academics,
- 0-2 Years’ experience in a manufacturing / Production / FMCG environment,
- Previous work experience will be advantageous but not a must,
- Should demonstrate ability to combine analytical thinking, theory and practicable execution during problem solving.
- Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and development.
- Design & specifications.
- Project management support.
- Supervision & commissioning activities relating to multi-disciplinary EPCM projects.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
- Excellent communication skills,
- Good MS Office skills with strong MS Excel skills,
- Good report writing skills,
- Technically inclined (bridging gap between theory and practice),
- Basic CAD skills,
- Good English language skills (reading, writing, and speaking),
Attributes & Soft Skills
- Confidence and high level of professionalism,
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Ability to interact with staff and senior management across various functions and divisions within the company,
- Loyal & committed to meet deadlines,
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team / environment.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
