Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate – Grade 12
- Certificate – Health and safety representative will be advantageous
- Certificate – Microsoft Office (must be computer literate and have good administrative and computer skills)
- Must be able to work accurately with exceptional attention to detail

People Management Officer

Afrimat is seeking the services of an experienced People Management Officer to take on all operational People Management tasks for Afrimat Longmeadow.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all people management functions and will report to the PM Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferably a degree in People Management or Industrial Psychology
- A minimum of 5 years experience in generalist People Management-related functions and experience in the mining industry with experience on the Social and Labour Plans would be advantageous.
- Language profeciencies: English; Afrikaans and Setswana would be advantageous

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 9
- Must have 3 -5 years’ experience.
- Be literate and functionally numerate.

- Must have a valid Operator’s Certificate
- Must have a basic mechanical background.
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
GCC Engineer
Location: Western Cape
Afrimat Aggregates Operations (Western Cape) has a vacancy for: GCC (Government Certified Competency) Engineer (Consultant).

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
- Mining GCC
- Valid driver’s license
- A minimum of three years supervisory / management experience within Quarrying environment.
- Knowledge and experience of maintenance planning and cost center control.
- Sound multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge and experience associated with electrical, electronic, mechanical, and structural infrastructure and systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and engineering principles in heavy machinery industry.
- Good knowledge and experience of overall plant processes and operational systems.
