Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for:
The incumbent will enter into an internship program with MQA and will obtain working experience in their qualification discipline field at Glencore Western Chrome Mines.
This opportunity would make the incumbent more attractive to potential employers after completing of the internship program. The candidate will undergo practical training and exposure at the premises of the Company.
Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential. Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company standards / policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Completed Diploma / Degree / N6 in the following disciplines:
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Geology
- Mining Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Environmental Health and Management
- Occupational Hygiene
- Electrical Engineering
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate (Microsoft computer packages)
- General knowledge
- Medically fit
- Performance / Achievement Driven,
- Accurate and timeous completion of assignments (result driven)
- The incumbent must have membership to a medical aid
