Requirements

  • Currently completing a Masters degree in educational psychology
  • Personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Compliance to the Curro code of ethics and the undergoing of a criminal-record and qualifications check
  • Previous teaching experience an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, control record and report on assessments.
  • Attend meetings, forums and workshops for the grade/phase as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the teachers, learners and parents regarding learners social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs.

  • Assist in promoting teaching and learning within the class.
  • Assist with sports-related activities, contribute to the planning and execution of cultural events, and manage various administrative duties.
  • Work in compliance and in conjunction with academic and regulatory body requirements, as applicable.
