Admin Officer X3 posts
Job Purpose
To capture data, update technical documentation, perform general office administration and provide administration and an overall admin support function to the Senior Manager as well as all the other employees in the Department.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- PC literate, MS office and SAP R/3
- 5 years’ administration experience

Material Planner
Job Purpose
To control material within the Material Control area by packaging and moving timeously, ensuring that all documentation is correct and applicable. To move material and components to and from workshops and to the aircraft.
Ensure that the material and components are packed correctly and moved with the correct support equipment.
Check that material and components are accompanied with correct documentation and are registered for monitoring and updating of reports.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 with Maths and Science
- Driver’s license
- PC literate, MS office and AMOS

Production Controller
Job Purpose

- 3 years’ experience as an appointed Planner within the technical environment OR An aviation technician with 1 year planning experience

Aeronautical Technician
Job Purpose
The Aviation Technician will perform maintenance inclusive of servicing, self-inspecting, repairs, overhaul, testing, basic trouble shooting and modifications to aircraft engines, airframes and components in accordance with task cards, check sheets and work instructions, complying with SAAT Manufacturers and regulatory authority requirements to SAA and customer aircraft.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Completed an Aviation Apprenticeship and passed Trade Test (trade applicable to position above)
- Have 2 years’ experience post apprenticeship
- Valid SACAA AMEL will be advantageous

Technician – Mechanical
Job Purpose
Perform servicing, inspections, certify and release as authorized repairs, overhaul, maintenance, testing, trouble shooting and modification to aircraft components on time in accordance with all regulatory authority requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Completed an aviation apprenticeship and passed a trade test certificate (trade applicable to position above)
- Shop certification with a combination of any two of the following aircraft types: B737-300/400/500, B737-NG, A319/320, A330, A340, B744, B777
- Have 8 years aircraft maintenance experience post apprenticeship

Metrologist
Job Purpose
The purpose of the Metrologist is to repair and calibrate all calibratable instruments and measuring equipment in accordance with specific standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Passed an Aviation Apprenticeship and Trade test
- Passed relevant theory examinations and must be metcert certified in any of the following disciplines: Pressure; DCLF; Temperature
- Have an internal auditing course as per ISO 17025
