Qualifications
Education: Matric and Diploma / B-Tech in Operations Management or relevant qualification
Experience :2-3 years or more in the Motor Manufacturing Industry
Skills and Attributes
Communication skills – an excellent phone manner is critical to the success of the role, along with the ability to develop good relationships with dealers.
Complaints Management & Disputes Resolution – Be able to deal with complaints in an efficient and effective manner in resolving disputes.
Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Critical Thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Key Performance Areas
- Investigates various claims in order to determine if a claim is eligible for payment or should be denied.
- Collecting and collating accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim.
- Accuracy of details compiled in order to make a decision.
- Required to make a decision on if a claim is approved based on these findings.
- Claims adjudicators must have knowledge of the policies and procedures within the various departments.
- Required to decide if the required handling chargers will be charged.
- Receive and respond to routine inquiries; resolve Dealer and NSC concerns relating to claims.
- Receive inbound contacts (calls and emails) from dealerships.
- Ensure that the 3rd party are verifying and inspecting all forms, reports and records relating to product returns. Reject or change the RFC reason or status on RFC parts arrived in RFC cage.
