The Richards Bay Technical Training & Assessment Centre in conjuction with the Department of Higher Education and Training are recruiting for the WIL— In service Training for Business and Engineering studies (24 months).

Stipend will be offered. Qualifying candidates will be placed in a 24 month internship by RBTTAC.
Job Purpose
RBTTAC has been appointed to roll out the following WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING (WIL) programme to provide opportunities for students/learners requiring a period of workplace learning in order to complete their academic qualifications (e.g. TVET colleges, Universities of Technology and Universities).
Limited spaces are available and candidates will be placed on a first come first served basis.
Who Should Apply?
TVET Students with N6 requiring the WIL component to obtain their National N Diploma Or MUT/DUT Engineering Diploma holders.
Beneficiaries of the programme need to fall within the following categories:
- South African citizen;
- Unemployed graduates who have NOT participated in a placement programme in the past and require work experience.
- Students who require a period of learning in the workplace to be able to graduate or receive their diploma or degrees.
- Graduates that are 35 years and above who meet the above beneficiaries’ category will be allowed to participate as well.
- Qualification and proof of residence will be vetted.
- Stipend is subject to 1% UIF & 0.5% COIDA deductions.
