The program intends to provide the learners with workplace-integrated skills, coaching, and practical application of their formal discipline in readiness for our business requirements or the job market.

About the Internship Programme

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and invaluable insights into the logistics and supply chain operations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You will be an integral part of our logistics and supply chain team, supporting various functions and projects to optimize efficiency and enhance productivity.

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and develop practical skills essential for a successful career in this field.

Key Performance Areas

Assisting in the planning and execution of logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.

Identifying the organization’s purchasing needs.

Placing purchase orders for imports based on projected demand and sales needs in time and in full.

Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best quantities and delivery timescales.

Involved in planning projects. Communicate any stock shortages to the business in timely manner.

Requirements

  • Be a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)
  • Be between the ages of (18-30)
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Must have no criminal record.

A student is to provide a letter from the University/College requiring him/her to complete a term of Work Integrated Learning before a qualification can be conferred on him/her.

No University qualification obtained will be accepted.
