General Requirements

  • Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record.
  • Candidates must currently be unemployed.
  • Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program.

  • Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) – relocation is NOT an option.
  • Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2024.
  • Candidates must be a South African Citizen (African, Asian, Indian)

Finance Internship

Gijima is recruiting 1 x Finance Intern for their group finance department at their head office in Midrand. 

The successful candidate will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop accounting skills and gain hands-on experience in financial management under the guidance of experienced professionals.

The criteria is as follows:-

  • Candidates must have completed a BCom/Diploma qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet

Development and Solution Architecture Internship

Gijima are recruiting 1 x Development and Solution Architecture Intern for their Internship programme in Gauteng (Midrand). 

The successful candidate will work closely with senior architects and developers to assist in designing, developing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of Gijima clients. 

The role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development and cloud technologies.

The criteria/requirements are as follows:-

  • Candidates must have COMPLETED their 3 YEAR tertiary qualification in degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. This is NOT a WIL programme.

Finance (Business Partner) Internship

Gijima is recruiting Finance Business Partner interns for their finance department at their head office in Midrand. 

The successful candidate will support the Finance Business Partner team in assisting with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities. 

The entry-level role provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to gain hands-on experience in financial management within the organization. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Business Partner team, contributing to the financial health of the business units by providing accurate data analysis and supporting decision-making processes.

The criteria is as follows: –

Gijima is recruiting x30 IT Support Interns in Gauteng for an internship program rolling out SAP ISH Med (SAP for Healthcare and Medical Industries). 

Interns will be responsible for supporting the implementation of SAP ISH Med within Gauteng Department of Health. 

This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to the successful deployment of SAP ISH Med within the Gauteng Province.

The criteria is as follows:-

  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification – National Diploma Communications Networks, National Diploma Computer Systems Engineering, BSc Information Systems, National Diploma IT
