Job Purpose
The Nedbank Chartered Accountants Seminar Experience (i.e. CASE) aims to showcase what doing your articles within Nedbank would be like.
This 4 day CASE vacation programme offers students, who are in the final year of their undergraduate SAICA accredited studies, real-world banking experience and insight into the culture of Nedbank that harnesses your potential to be a game-changing business leader.
Job Responsibilities
This year’s CASE vacation work programme promises an exciting in-person experience where delegates will be hosted at the Rivonia campus over a the 4-day experience aimed at providing insights to assist students in their decision to either complete their CA articles at Nedbank by:
- Providing them with financial services work experience in the form of assigning projects and challenges relevant to their field of study and career aspirations;
- Experience Nedbank’s purpose-led and people-driven culture, purpose and brand;
- Have the opportunity to interact with the Nedbank executives, Programme management and trainees;
- Gain insightful professional, leadership and interview skills, as well as improve your personal branding;
- Giving them an opportunity to engage with our leadership to understand how at Nedbank we aim to work better as a collective to unleash value and growth as a purpose-led organisation
- Exposing them to the Nedbank way and the value proposition of the CA Training Programme;
- Be challenged by a wide range of relevant financial services related activities;
- And gain valuable insights into the world of banking.
Qualifications – NQF Level
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor of Commerce: Accounting
- SAICA Accredited Accounting Undergraduate qualification
