Stellenbosch University’s Node for Infection Imaging is pleased to announce a bursary designed to support talented individuals in pursuing further study in the field of radiopharmacy.

Bursary Information
The successful candidate will be based at the Node for Infection Imaging and will pursue a full-time MSc or PhD degree in Nuclear Medicine through Stellenbosch University, with a focus on radiopharmacy.
Funding for up to 3 years is available. The successful candidate will be required to complete a 1-year (paid) contract at the NII as a radiopharmacist post-graduation.

Who Should Apply
- Pharmacists (newly qualified or experienced) who wish to pursue a MSc in a Nuclear Medicine (Radiopharmacy).
- Pharmacists already in possession of a master’s degree who wish to pursue a PhD in Nuclear Medicine (Radiopharmacy).
Requirements
- B.Pharm degree.
- Full registration as a pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council.
Candidates interested in pursuing a PhD must be in possession of a master’s degree in a relevant pharmacy field (e.g., MSc Nuclear Medicine, MSc Radiopharmacy, MPharm) with at least 2 years of postgraduate radiopharmacy experience.
This requirement does not apply to candidates interested in pursuing an MSc.
