Job Purpose
The purpose of this post is to deliver information resources and equipment services as well as providing access as well as providing access to Library information resources to clients and answering general enquiries.
Minimum Qualification
- Grade 12 plus three years of relevant experience; OR
- Three-year degree or equivalent and two years of relevant experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Library delivery methods / channels
- Identification of sources for information resources
- Basic technical knowledge and understanding of use of equipment e.g. PC’s photocopiers, printers
etc. - Use of Library system for basic searches
- Computer literacy
- Interpersonal skills and relationship management
- Communication skills, record keeping and service orientated
- Honesty and integrity
- Respect for colleagues and clients
- Student / service focused
- Accountability and responsibility

- Delivery of information resources and equipment services and provision of access to clients
