Internship Programme – Garden Route Region
Closing Date: 03 September 2024
Tsitsikamma Section of the Garden Route is offering an Internship opportunity. Applications are invited from candidates in the related field of study stated below:
1 x Technical Civil Engineering/Building Intern
Accommodation is available inside the Park.
Requirements:
- Qualified and unemployed South African youth with an NQF level 6 (National Diploma) qualification in the above-mentioned field of study only, and have not attended any internship programme before.
- Candidates with Driver’s licenses have an added advantage.
Field Assistant (Biodiversity Social Projects)
Closing Date: 26 August 2024
The above position is on a fixed-term contract position up to the end of March 2027 Renewable on mutual agreement.
The Salary is on a B4 band, R11,823.25 salary + R 2,426.12 housing allowance per month as the incumbent will be staying outside the park (own accommodation to be provided).
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Code 08 driver’s license
- Computer Literacy in MS Office
- 2 years of experience with contracting teams/management of personnel
- Experience in health and safety management and compliance
- Experience in soil/land rehabilitation techniques is essential for this position
Human Capital Management Officer
Closing Date: 28 August 2024
The Organisation requires the services of a Human Capital Management Officer in the Performance Management Unit. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
Requirements:
- Be in possession of a National Diploma in Human Resource Management / Equivalent qualification.
- Have 2 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have 2 years in a clerical role.
- Experience working in the Conservation, Tourism, and hospitality industry will be an advantage.
Officer: Payroll
Closing Date: 30 August 2024
The Organisation requires the services of an Officer: Payroll in the Human Capital Management department. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.
Requirements
- Have a Diploma in Human Resource Management / Payroll.
- Have relevant experience in HR Administration and payroll systems.
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience working within the payroll environment.
- Proficient with payroll software specifically Sage 300 people.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations/processes.
Manager : Land Affairs
Closing Date: 28 August 2024
The organisation requires the services of a Manager: Land Affairs in the Legal Services’ Department. This position will be based in Phalaborwa for assistance with land matters within the Kruger National Park (KNP) and other National Parks
Requirements:
- Be in possession of an LLB (Bachelor of Law) degree with commercial and property law.
- Should have 4 – 6 years of legal advisor experience.
- Have 1 -3 years of practicing as conveyancer.
- Have commercial and property law experience.
- Understanding of commercial and contract law.
GM: Governance and Reporting
Closing Date: 26 August 2024
Applications from suitably qualified persons are invited for the General Manager: Governance and Reporting position based in Skukuza at Kruger National Park (KNP).
The position will report to the Managing Executive for Kruger National Park (KNP) and operate throughout the Park.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in law/risk management/commerce or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of risk and compliance management experience.
- Proven experience monitoring adherence to all legislation, regulations, standards and business policies and procedures regarding Governance and Risk management.
- Membership with a Risk Management Professional body would be an advantage.
- Sound experience in risk and compliance policy writing and reviews.
