Legal Officer
- Location: Kwa-Zulu Natal Provincial Office- DPSA
- Level 10- permanent position (Internal and External Advert)
- Salary: A basic salary of R552 081.00 per annum.
Job Purpose:
To assist the Provincial office with complaints handling relating to human rights violations in accordance with the Commissions processes, procedures and manuals.
Qualification and Knowledge:
- An LLB degree
- Knowledge and understanding of all relevant (national and
international) human rights legislation/laws - Knowledge of human rights theory and practices
- Understanding of litigation practices, processes and
procedures. - Understanding of investigation processes and procedures
- Knowledge of all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Data Capturer/ Intake Officer
- Location: North West Provincial Office- DPSA
- Level 8- permanent position (Internal and External Advert)
- Salary: A basic salary of R376 413.00 per annum.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the proper and effective recording of all information/data in the provincial office and to assist the provincial office with the compilation of reports.
Qualification and Knowledge:
- Paralegal Diploma
- Statistical analysis
- Knowledge in legal secretary will be an added advantage.
- Understanding and knowledge of relevant processes and systems
- Records and information management
Human Rights Monitor
- Location: Limpopo Provincial Office
- Contract position until 31 March 2025 (Internal/External advert)
- Salary: All inclusive package of R22 220,56 per month.
Job Purpose:
Increase the visibility and reach of the Commission; through monitoring and reporting on the observance of human rights within the province
Qualification and Knowledge:
- Basic degree (Law/Social Sciences/ Development Studies)
- Basic Project management;
- Good understanding of human rights law
- Basic Research skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
