Buyer

If you are in supply chain and in buyer role for long, this role should be your next choice as you need to understand this part of the business to add value to your stint in purchase.

You will have opportunity to apply your learnings in other areas of supply chain and vice-versa.

If you are outside supply chain, this is an opportunity to enter supply chain. But you should have worked with supply chain team or suppliers in current role or in your previous roles.

Qualifications

  • National Degree in Engineering / Finance / Business Administration is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in relevant disciplines and previous automotive purchasing experience would be a distinct advantage

Dealer – Parts Support

This position will work cross functionally with internal Ford stakeholders by leveraging the common resources, tools and system e.g. PANDA, MicroCat, and SharePoints etc. 

Qualifications

  • National Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/Business Management or Helpdesk System Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years within the Automotive Industry Logistics environment background.
  • Must  have displayed proven capability of advanced PC skills & presentation preparation skills using microsoft office. 
  • Excel intermediate skills

Technical Training Supervisor

Job purpose includes esuring and maintaining training facility tools & equipment, teaching aids, and training vehicles for readiness and safety. 

Conduct Training Facility Safety Audit daily / quarterly /yearly 

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years’ workplace experience within the Automotive technical training or after sale business or Automotive manufacturing.
  • Relevant technical qualification relating to vehicle diagnosis, testing and repair procedures, business strategy, or related field.

Field Service Engineer

The FSE is responsible for all technical concerns from the Rapid Hub he/she owns including all Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) escalations. 

The role also contains a training element as we engage with dealer technicians to provide on-the-job training and guidance.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Engineering qualification (Minimum 3 year diploma) from a recognized university/college.
  • Vehicle diagnostics and technical problem-solving experience a must. 
  • PTS and FDRS Experience will be beneficial.
  • Dealership operations and workshop experience an advantage.
  • Must have a valid South African Driver’s license
  • Must have a valid Passport
