Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Report to: Recruitment Officer . The Media & Communications Intern works closely with the two Media Liaison Specialists, the entire Comms team and other Communication teams within the organisation, journalists, and account executives at the different medical journal publications.
MSF is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation committed to providing medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, natural and man-made disasters.
Job Purpose
This is an internship position to enhance one experience through supporting the recruitment team on three areas of their activities which includes: Field recruitment, Office recruitment and Friends of MSF engagements within the HR department.
Remuneration and Allowances
- We will make available the necessary resources, such as working space, computers, the internet, stationery, and other supplies.
- Monthly Stipend: R 5000.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The main objective of the FoMSF program is to raise awareness of MSF work amongst the medical and other university students which will encourage them to consider working with MSF or humanitarian organizations in their future careers.
Qualifications
Degree or National Diploma in
- Human Resources Management,
- Marketing,
- Communications,
- Project Management.
Knowledge and Skills
