Heineken Beverages (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd.’s Supply Chain department is recruiting for Machine Operator X18 posts.

Location: Port Elizabeth, ZA

Closing Date: 01 October 2024

Applications are invited for the above mentioned positions to be based at the Gqeberha Manufacturing plant within the Packaging Department.

Key Performance Areas

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

• The preparation and start-up of machines
• Operation of machines and other equipment
• Ensuring effective production safety and housekeeping
• Cleaning machines and equipment
• Participate in Mini business principles and practices.
• Tank volume confirmations. (Must be able to work at heights)
• Be able to conduct stock verification.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

• Grade 12
• Successfully completed x2 Skills Programmes, one being Basic Machine Operations
• 1-2 years’ experience operating a machine

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and accurately
• Proven ability in problem solving and knowledge of the various problem solving methods
• Knowledge of safe working procedures
• Display good attention to detail
• Innovative
• To reflect good leadership behaviour – towards colleagues, superior and company values
• Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required
