Minimum Qualification

• Grade 12
• Health & Safety Qualification (Preferably Mining SAMTRAC)
• Driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 legislation
• Knowledge of Environmental related legislation would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

• Writing of reports
• Reporting to the manager and SHE Officer within agreed upon timeframes
• Daily checklists and toolbox talks
• Update notice boards
• Filing
• Conduct inductions
• Inspections
