Minimum Qualification
- Grade 12
- Health & Safety Qualification (Preferably Mining SAMTRAC)
- Driver’s license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 legislation
- Knowledge of Environmental related legislation would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities
- Writing of reports
- Reporting to the manager and SHE Officer within agreed upon timeframes
- Daily checklists and toolbox talks
- Update notice boards
- Filing
- Conduct inductions
- Inspections
