SHERQ Administrator
Closing Date: 04 October 2024
Rainbow Farm is seeking an experienced SHERQ Administrator who will provide a professional supportive SHERQ service to all the different Agric Divisions in Rainbow Carolina.
The role will also include taking overall responsibility for administrative support in relation to maintaining data quality systems.
Required Qualifications:
- • Matric.
- • Any Qualification related to SHERQ.
- • Valid driver’s licence.
Internship Programme 2024/ 2025
Closing Date: 30 September 2024
The Rainbow Internship Programme will run over 12 months and provide third year students the opportunity to fulfill their qualification requirements, whilst attaining on the job exposure.
This programme will serve as a feeder scheme into the Management Trainee Programme and Internal technical role requirements.
Minimum requirements:
Must be willing to join a 12-month contract with the business
The minimum requirements for the internship is a relevant Diploma, Btech, in the fields of:
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
- Food Technology
- Food Safety & Quality Assurance
- Human Resources
- Animal Science
- Veterinary Science
- Agricultural Science
Must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South Africa.
HR Administrator
Closing Date: 04 October 2024
Rainbow Farm is seeking an experienced HR Administrator.
Required Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
- Valid Code EB drivers’ licence.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant HR and Operational experience, preferably in a unionized food processing plant.
- Knowledge of HR principles and practices, Employment, and Labour Legislation.
- Knowledge of Health and safety policies and procedures and Business unit processes
Millwright
Closing Date: 02 October 2024
This role involves the maintenance of equipment in the Laboratory space to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The incumbent should also Conduct safety inspection and also conduct research and development with the purpose of upgrading the equipment for improved performance at reduction of maintenance cost.
Required Qualifications:
- Recognized Millwright trade test
- Wireman’s license added advantage
- Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
QA Monitor X5 posts

Role Purpose:
- To ensure adherence to Rainbow’s Total Integrated Management System.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science, preferably studying towards a Quality qualification, e.g. Food Tech Diploma, Bio Tech Diploma, Environmental Health, etc.
- Poultry Meat Examiners/Inspectors Certificate.
Assistant Farmer X2 posts
Closing Date: 27 September 2024
Role Purpose:
- To assist the Farmer/Site Supervisor in managing the operations, resources and manpower of a site thereby ensuring the optimal number of the right quality birds at the right time and at the lowest cost. To take full responsibility of the site when the Farmer /Site Supervisor is not on site.
Required Qualifications:
- Physically fit with no allergies to bird feathers and dust
- Minimum Grade 12; Tertiary qualification will be an advantage
Weighbridge Operator
Closing Date: 27 September 2024
Role Purpose:
- To ensure accurate receipting and dispatching of raw materials and finished goods.
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 and Computer Literate on Excel
Required Experience:
- 2 years’ experience as a weighbridge operator will be an advantage.
