The East London IDZ is looking for interns to be exposed in the following fields for a period of up to 24 months subject to the conditions.

The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd is a State-Owned Corporation set up by government through the South African Industrial Development Zones Programme (now the South African Special Economic Zones Programme) to develop, operate and maintain modern infrastructure and to complementary attract strategic investments for the region.
Available internship opportunities
The East London IDZ is looking for interns to be exposed at its newly established Digital hub in the following fields for a period of up to 24 months subject to the conditions of the internship agreement to be signed after the appointment:
IOT & 4iR interns x2 posts
- M+3 Qualification in Computer Sciences/Information Systems / Software Development/Information Technology
Graphic Design intern x1 post
- M+3 Qualification in Animation/Graphic Design/Multimedia
Broadcasting & Videography x1 post
- M+ 3 Qualification in Videography/Multimedia/Broadcasting/ Media Studies
Enterprise Development x1 post
- M+ 3 Qualification in Business Economics / Economics/ Business Management/Entrepreneurship
Administration x1 post
- M+ 3 Qualification in Office Management and Technology Administration / Office Administration / Business Administration
Requirements
- Relevant studies have been completed.
- South African citizen between the age of 18 – 35 years with a preference for those from the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.
- You must not have participated in any other internship programme.
- First preference will be given to top performers academically.
- The ELIDZ is committed to giving preference to qualified individuals with disabilities.
- Applicants must be unemployed.
