NTP Radioisotopes SOC Ltd is a subsidiary of the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa)

Location: Necsa Industrial Eco- Park, R104 Elias Motsoaledi Street, Pelindaba, West of Pretoria, Brits Magisterial District, NW Province, 2025.

Job Purpose

NTP is looking for unemployed and suitably qualified graduates to take up these challenging internship positions.

It is the intention of NTP to promote representativeness through the filling of these positions.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Must have software understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities (i.e. critical thinking).
  • Adherence to work instructions and procedures.
  • Good command in English, both written and spoken (i.e. good communication skills).

  • Be able to successfully summarise large volumes of data.
  • Basic understanding of Job-specific technical skills/knowledge requirements and principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must be deadline oriented (i.e. Time Management, Planning and Prioritizing).
  • Hardworking person and have a good nature to fit in with our current team (i.e. Effective Team Collaboration).

Requirements

  • Must be an Unemployed SA citizen between the ages 18 and35 years.
  • Must not be currently on any learnership, internship or apprenticeship programme OR previously participated in any of the afore-mentioned programmes with any SETA/Government institution.
  • No working experience required.

Chemical Engineering x11 interns

  • NTP2024/001
  • Grade 12 & National Diploma in Chemical Engineering:
  • Those requiring P1 & P2 to graduate.

Chemical Engineering x11 interns

  • NTP2024/002 Grade 12 & National Diploma in Chemical Engineering:
  • Those requiring additional workplace exposure (already graduated).

Industrial Engineering x2 interns

  • NTP2024/003 Grade 12 & National Diploma in Industrial Engineering:
  • Those requiring P1 & P2 to graduate.

Mechanical Engineering x2 interns

  • NTP2024/004 Grade 12 & National Diploma in Industrial Engineering:
  • Those requiring P1 & P2 to graduate.

Operations Management x2 interns

  • NTP2024/005 Grade 12 & National Diploma in Operations Management:
  • Those requiring additional workplace exposure (already graduated).

Administrative Assistant x3 interns

  • NTP2024/006 Grade 12 & National Diploma in Administration/Business Administration or related:
  • Those requiring additional workplace exposure (already graduated).

Applicants should submit their application, with the required documentation, to the email [email protected] , indicating the Reference Number of the field applied for (e.g. NTP2024/001), and attaching the following documents:

  • South African Identity Document
  • A recent detailed CV
  • Copy of Matric Certificate
  • Copy of Diploma Certificate
  • A full academic record indicating individual modules/courses
  • Proof of Residence must be attached.

Preference will be given to applicants who have submitted copies of their qualification certificate. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other related documents on or before the day of the interview following the communication from Human Resources and such qualification(s) and other related document(s) will be in line with the requirements of the advert.

Foreign qualification must be accompanied by an evaluation report issued by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) (only when shortlisted).
