Internship Details
- Start date: 4 November 2024
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Durbana
- Working hours: 40 h/week
- Working model: hybrid; in-field travel to support clinical stakeholders
Available internships
Sales Internship
As an Intern, you will work with close supervision and deliver work of limited scope, typically smaller, less complex projects, or related activities.
You will be able to identify, define and addresses problems that are not immediately evident, make minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems.
You will communicate primarily with internal contacts within immediate group. We support your growth with training, mentorship and guidance you need to own your future success.
Required Knowledge:
- Recently graduated or about to graduate with a degree in higher education
- Driver’s license
Navigation/Spine Technology Internship
As an Intern, you will provide support in Navigation/Spine cases and facilitate technology adoption and release full, differentiating potential of Medtronic products during the procedure.
You will create a strong adoption/demand from clinical stakeholders and build robust relationships with clinicians based on unparalleled therapy insights.
You will develop towards delivering a comprehensive training and education value offering. This role actively generates sales through clinical support.
Required Knowledge:
- Degree in medical field
- Driver’s license
Would be a plus:
- Navigation or Spine related Technology Qualification advantageous
- Clinical experience in hospital environment
- Self-Motivated, Team Player
- Determined and Goal orientated.
- Excels in a fast-paced competitive environment
- Problem analysis and problem solving
- Formal presentation skills as well as organization and planning
Cardiac Clinical Technology Internship
As an intern, you will provide in-OR/Cath-Lab support to facilitate adoption of Medtronic Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) technology during implant procedures, while also delivering in-field support for CRM patient follow-ups.
By building strong relationships with clinicians and offering unique insights into therapy, you’ll play a key role in driving demand for our technology.
This internship offers an opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Required Knowledge:
- Recently graduated (or in the final year) with a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology (Cardiac)
- Driver’s license
Would be a plus:
- Technically strong
- Self-Motivated, Team Player
- Problem analysis and problem solving
- Formal presentation skills as well as organization and planning
- International Training certificate
