Ramsay Motor Components (RMC) invites applications for the Projects Graduate Programme 2024/ 2025.
Successful applicants will be appointed on a FTC (Fixed Term Contract) for 1 Year.
Ramsay Motor Components is a leading Tier 1 automotive components and assemblies manufacturer based in Prospecton, Durban, adjacent to Toyota South Africa Motors.

Job Purpose
Assist Project Engineer in delivery of new projects from project kick off up to production stage.

- Process Design & Implementation
- Innovation of Current Manufacturing Methods
- Problem Solving & Investigation
Duties & Resposibilities
Project Management:
- Create and track timing plans for overall scope and individual activites.
- Assist Project Engineer in ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
- Compile reports.
- Follow customer APQP processes.
- Basic Computer Skills (Office 365, Excel, MS Teams)
Process Design:
- Implementation of new processes
- Aid the Project Engineer with developing & trouble shooting new processes.
- Process Documentation
- Process Instructions
- Setting Parameters & Maintenance Checklists
Product Design:
- Fabricate prototypes
- Assist in field testing and demos
- Simulation testing
Innovation of Current Manufacturing Methods:
- Improve current processes to improve quality, efficiency & scrap.
Problem Solving & Investigation:
- Assist Project Engineer in conducting detailed investigations to support Quality with regards to field failures
- Conduct detailed investigations into manufacturing problems.
Qualifications
- N Dip / B-tech Mech Eng or relevant technical experience
