Microlab In-Service

The key purpose of this role is to support the microbiology laboratory in providing service to the value chain.

Closing Date: 08 October 2024

Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment & workplace
  • Analyze samples
  • Support the value chain
  • Report non conformances
  • Work in teams

Minimum Requirements

  • ND: Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology (all subjects completed)
  • Ability to utilise computer programmes extensively
  • Analytical ability
  • Communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Mental alertness and judgement
  • Problem solving skills
  • Precision and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Numeracy

Brewing/ Packaging In-Service

The key purpose of this role is to operate and maintain the Brewing or Packaging process to achieve optimal equipment effectiveness.

Closing Date: 09 October 2024

Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Ability to work
  • Team player
  • Vigilant with a bias for action
  • Attention to details
  • Problem solving ability
  • Manual dexterity

Key Attributes and competencies:

  • Attention to details
  • PC Literacy

Minimum Requirements:

  • ND: Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Understand the chemical process of brewing the beer or the Packaging Process
  • Provided an opportunity to fulfil their experiential training or plant operation exposure
  • Manual dexterity.

Quality Assurance In-Service

The key purpose of this role is to support the core laboratory in providing service to the value chain.

Closing Date: 08 October 2024

  • Maintain equipment & workplace
  • Analyse samples

  • Report non-conformances
  • Work in teams

Profile:

  • Studying towards National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology or engineering (chemical) (3rd Year Student) 
  • Ability to utilize computer program extensively
  • Analytical ability
  • Communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Mental alertness and judgment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Precision and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Numeracy
