PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To ensure compliance to legislation, mine policies, code of practices, standard rules, and procedures in respect of safety issues in a designated area of responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/NQF Level 4/STD 10 is essential.
- Blasting certificate is essential.
- COMSOC 1 and 2 (Mining) is essential.
- Computer Skills (Ms Office: – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
- Relevant accident/incident/root cause analysis methodology is essential.
Trackless Mine Overseer
CLOSING DATE: 15 October 2024
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To oversee production at an operational and strategic management level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 / Standard 10 (preferably with Maths & Science) is essential
- Mine Overseer Certificate is essential
- Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines is essential
- Minimum of 3 5 years experience as Mine Overseer in Trackless mining environment (preferably Bord and Pillar) is essential
- Computer literacy (MS Office package) is essential
- Valid medical certificate or medically fit to obtain such a certificate
Rigger & Ropesman

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To safely rig and lift heavy equipment and materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/STD10/NQF Level 4 is essential.
- Recognized relevant Trade qualification (section 13) is essential. OR

SAP Capture Clerk

PURPOSE OF THE JOB To provide administrative and clerical support to ensure departmental operations are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.

TMM Miner

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Ensures that rules/regulations and management specifics pertaining to daily tasks, safe handling of explosives, effective handling of equipment are complied with and reports or deals with any breaching thereof.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Trainee Analyst_

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To prepare and analyse the PMR process, feed, and final metal samples.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science or ABET Level 4 essential.
- Good communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.
- Computer literacy-, attention to detail and analytical skills are essential.
- Laboratory experience/modules will be an advantage.
- Must be medically fit for PMR.
Chemical Engineer
CLOSING DATE: 09 October 2024
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide technical assistance (i.e., projects, test work, etc) to the plant / operations to ensure optimal operation and the continual improvement of the process.
To conduct capital plan items (design, commission, implementation, and project management) to meet Implats business plan profile.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Chemical Engineering
- 1 – 2 years experience only required with a B-Tech degree.
- Comprehension of chemical / metallurgical plants (BMR and/or PMR) required.
- Knowledge on Project Management Principles, engineering and flow sheet principles.
Roofbolt Operator
CLOSING DATE: 03 October 2024
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Operate a mobile mechanised roofbolter underground and drill and install roofbolts according to the drill plan adhering to standard operating procedures and required mining and safety standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 /STD 10 (NQF 4) is essential
- Roofbolt Competency Certificate
- 3 years experience as TM3 Roofbolt Operator
