Location: Umbogintwini, KwaZulu-Natal
AECI Property Services is seeking to appoint an Engineer-In-Training within their operation situated at Umbogintwini, 30 kilometres South of Durban
Job Purpose
To provide technical leadership and management of a customer-focused service business, supplying steam, engineering services, utilities maintenance, water purification, sewage treatment to the whole of the Umbogintwini Industrial Complex’s multi-facetted site.
Key Responsibilities
Experiential exposure would include, but may not be limited to the following
- Steam generation and reticulation
- Water abstraction, purification and reticulation
- Sanitation treatment, satellite pump stations and reticulation
- Inorganic Effluent Treatment Plant
- Marine Discharge Pipeline
- Engineering drawing
- Engineering Management
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (S4), a B Tech (Mechanical Engineering) or a BSC Mechanical Engineering with a view to gaining further practical experience within an industrial environment.
A desire to acquire a Certificate of Competency (GCC Mechanical) would be encouraged upon experiential qualification
