Purpose
The purpose of this position is to support the enhancement of public spaces by participating in a project focused on low-value infrastructure initiatives.
Key Duties
Graduates will assist in the design, installation, and refurbishment of elements such as street furniture, bus shelters, and trading stalls.
This role includes conducting comprehensive audits of public space infrastructure to identify common use areas and document existing conditions.
By contributing to these efforts, graduates will help create accessible, inviting, and well-maintained public spaces that effectively meet community needs, while gaining valuable experience in urban design, project management, and community engagement.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma Built Environment profession
- Competent in relevant design software
- eThekwini Resident.
- Must be 18 – 55 years old.
