Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
As an HR Intern, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the HR team in all things generalist, helping us streamline operations and maintain an organized, engaging, and compliant HR environment. Key responsibilities include:
General HR Administration:
- Assist in preparing executive presentations, including ExCo and engagement survey decks.
- Run and analyze HR reports, contributing insights to support departmental initiatives.
- Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance.
- Assist with HR documentation, such as preparing offer letters, contracts, and other HR communications.
Employee Engagement and Communication:
- Support our employee engagement efforts by helping organize team events and creating engagement materials.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Help maintain HR communications that keep employees informed and engaged.
Recruitment and Onboarding Assistance:
- Assist with posting job vacancies on various platforms and screen candidate applications.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates.
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing materials and guiding new team members through their first days.
Training and Development Support:
- Help organize training sessions by coordinating logistics and tracking attendance.
- Assist in creating and distributing training materials to enhance employee development.
- Gather feedback from training sessions to help drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: BA/BCom in Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Traits: A collaborative, proactive, and communicative individual who handles confidential information responsibly.
