Project Management Intern

• NQF 6 (Diploma) in Project Management or equivalent.
• At least 1 years’ experience in a corporate environment advantageous.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Strong administration skills.
• Ability to manage and control.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to take initiative and work in a team.

Instrumentation Technician intern

• National Diploma Industrial Instrumentation.
• Good insight in the step-by-step operations of machinery & processes.
• Good knowledge & understanding of field devices used i.e., sensors, level sensing, pressures, temperatures, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good fault finding and trouble shooting skills
• Be available for standby duties and overtime when and as needed.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels.

Procurement Intern

• Minimum Qualification: B Com / B Tech / Advanced Diploma in Procurement or Logistics;
• Valid Driver’s License with driving experience;
• Computer Literacy (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must;
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English;
• Broad Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantage;

• Experience in working with SAP ERP system will be advantage;
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills;
• Good problem solving and analytical skills;
• Good planning and organizational skills – time management; and
• Proven ability to take responsibility and high level of integrity.

Artisan Assistant

The main purpose of the Artisan Assistant is to perform planned and general maintenance to plant and equipment.

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent.
• Have completed or busy to complete a recognised apprenticeship as an Electrician.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a technical assistant within an explosive’s environment.
• Perform breakdown maintenance.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime and be on standby.
• Self-disciplined. hardworking and enthusiastic individual.
• Neat and orderly approach to his work.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Valid code 8 driver’s license

Refrigeration Technician

• Minimum N6/ National Diploma in Instrumentation
• Trade Test in Instrumentation
• 5 years’ experience in a plant manufacturing environment
• Good communication, planning and organizing skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Programming knowledge (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs)
• Computer literate

Electrician

• N3 Certificate or equivalent.
• Electrician Trade Certificate
• 3 years’ experience post qualification as maintenance, construction or installation electrician in petro chemical industry will be advantages.
• Knowledge of inspection of flame proof equipment in hazardous area.
• Good electrical insight in the repair of machinery and equipment.
• Code 8 driver’s license.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Process Engineer

The role is responsible for the plant and process improvements of all production plants, as well as design, installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes to expand/improve capacity, efficiency, processes and products at the Wellington Site using engineering best practices.

• Minimum of BEng/BsC/BTech degree in Chemical Engineering
• Compulsory to have >3 years of professional experience in chemical plants as an Engineer (Internship experience not included) or in a continuous manufacturing environment, experience in Explosives/ Hazardous material (Example concentrated acids) manufacturing will be a distinct advantage
• It will be an added advantage to have a mechanical engineering knowledge (example basics on pump mechanical seals, bearings, etc).
