Bursary applications are open for Undergraduate Bursars studying full time / at an accredited University, University of Technology or College registered at the Department of Higher Education and Training.
What the Bursary covers
The following fees are borne by Assmang:
- Registration and Tuition Fees
- Accommodation Fees
- Textbooks
- Meals
- Monthly Allowance
- Laptop
Fields of Study
Students studying towards a qualification in the following fields of study:
Electronic Engineering
Mining Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Mine Surveying
Occupational Hygiene/ Environmental Health
Occupational Therapy
Rock Engineering/ Geo Tech
Requirements
The following documents will be required:
- Students must be a South African Citizen with a valid Salid South African Identity Document
- Proof of Residence i.e. Municipality Account
- Proof of Provisional acceptance or Registration for 2025
- An updated CV together with all academic records i.e. Grade 12 certificate or University statement of results
- All applicants with disabilities are required to submit a medical certificate confirming the nature of their disability.
