This role involves coordinating Production teams to ensure delivery of the production plan. It also involves facilitation of signing off of the production plan to ensure equipment availability, as well as coordinating operations planning process and inventory control.
Required Qualification and Experience :

Buying Administrator

Role Purpose: Rainbow Chicken is on the hunt for a Buying Administrator to join the Procurement department within the Agricultural team. The candidate should be analytical, have good communication skills, be target driven and customer focus orientated.
Qualification & Experience:
- Matric with mathematics and accounting (preferably)
- Completed or studying towards a Diploma in Supply Chain or Procurement (preferably)
- Minimum of 3 years’ buying administration or similar functional experience within a FMCG environment.
- Relevant SAP experience. SAP “procure to pay”
- Knowledge of MS Office
Research and Development Senior Technologist
Closing Date: 18 November 2024
Purpose: To manage the research, planning, coordination and execution of new product development; product quality improvements; cost saving initiatives and product and process technical support – from the concept brief to product launch.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Food Technology or similar
- Degree in Food Science or B Tech in food technology would be advantageous
- 3-7 years’ experience in a Food-related FMCG environment with preferably 3 years in a R&D role.
- Required to travel and occasionally work irregular hours
- Required to work in different environments – factory and office
- Participation in required taste session

Breeder Production Manager

The Rainbow Talent Acquisition Team is on the lookout for a highly skilled, self-motivated Breeder Production Manager to join our expert Agriculture Team, based in Zuurplaat, and reporting into the Agriculture Executive.
As the Breeder Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire breeding operations, thereby ensuring the optimal number of fertile A-grade eggs to the hatcheries.
Minimum Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture (3 years)
- Valid Code EB drivers’ license
- 7 years relevant experience in a similar environment, 5 of which should be in a management capacity
- Knowledge of Poultry production inclusive of laying, rearing, breeder and broiler management
- Excellent people skills
