Toolroom Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room Housekeeper to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the tool room, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

This role requires someone who is proactive, can manage their tasks independently, and follows health, safety, and security guidelines diligently. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Matric or NQF 4 equivalent qualification 
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or similar role, preferably in a Tool room or industrial environment. 
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment. 
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures. 
  • Good communication skills and the ability to report issues effectively. 
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting, sweeping, and mopping. 
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Production Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production and Raw Material Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and effective management of raw materials.  

Minimum Requirements:

  • • Matric or NQF 4 equivalent qualification
  • • Additional certification in manufacturing or production management is a plus.
  • • Previous experience in production, raw material management, or a similar role.
  • • Proficiency with the AS400 system (or similar production software).
  • • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and production-related software.
  • • Basic understanding of moulding processes and equipment.
  • • Strong organisational skills.

Learning and Development Specialist

We are looking for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs tailored to meet the needs of the organisation.

This role leverages expertise in instructional design, education, or curatorial practices to foster knowledge transfer and skill development.

The L&D Specialist will ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and performance. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education/Organisational Design/ Learning and Development 
  • Engineering certificate – technical field of studies (N1 – N3) 
  • 3+ years of experience in a Learning and Development, Education, or Curatorial role, with a focus on technical skills development. 
  • Strong background in instructional design and curriculum development, particularly for technical audiences. 
  • Proven experience in differentiated instruction: The ability to meet the needs of diverse learners 

Quality Controller

This position reports to: Quality Engineer 

We are looking for a Quality Controller on a fixed term contract to join our dynamic team. This role involves Inspection of springs (tensile and torsion) and coils according to specific requirements.

If you have a manufacturing background, strong attention to detail, and a passion for quality, this could be the perfect role for you. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Record keeping in line with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. 
  • Return and reject norms for manufactured components. 
  • Latest Quality Assurance procedures. 

Electronics Engineer

This position reports to: Head of Design – Electrical.

Main Purpose:

Design integrated electronics for new CBI products, such as enhanced circuit breakers, energy meters, remote monitoring and IoT connected products.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum BSc (Eng.) / BEng degree in Electronics.
  • 3-10 years design experience in
    1. Electronic design, PCB layout and prototyping
    2. Writing software / embedded firmware

Advantageous

  • Relevant Master’s Degree or other relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of IoT networking, system integration and other software
