Alexforbes is looking for top talent graduates to join their high-performing teams.

Job Purpose

To support the Procurement team, specifically within the Governance and Compliance space.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement: General Introductory

  • POPI – Compliance to the Protection of Personal Information act.
  • Meeting Representation:
  • Represent in internal or external meetings when required.
  • General assistance with the procurement department as directed by Line Management

Contract Management:

  • Contract screening for completeness.
  • Electronic storage into procurement shared drive, MS teams and Oracle P2P including statistical maintenance.
  • Uploading of contracts into Oracle P2P contract repository.

Supplier Management

  • Statistical Maintenance.
  • Database Maintenance. (supplier data gap support)
  • Screening of BBBEE certificates (according to expiry period) and supporting with expediting.
  • Vendor screening and alignment, including guidance to suppliers on items required.

Document Management

  • Statistical Maintenance.
  • Electronic folder maintenance in procurement shared drive and MS Teams as per relevant folders.
  • General assistance with the procurement department as directed by Line Management.

Qualifications

  • Matric
  • Supply Chain qualification or studying towards
