Logistic Miner

CLOSING DATE: 19 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for the guidance, supervision and administration of the team, and where necessary, performance of the activities required to maintain the operational status of the shaft. As a holder of a blasting ticket, ensure the maintenance of the regulations and handling of explosives on site.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4/STD 10 is essential.
• Blasting certificate is essential.
• At least 3 years Miner experience in an underground mining Logistic environment
• At least 3 years Trackless (Bord and Pillar) working experience

TMM Shift Supervisor

CLOSING DATE: 19 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To take charge of gangs, instructors, and trainees to mine a section of the workings of the mine in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act Regulation 8.1 for training purposes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 /Standard 10/NQF Level 4 is essential
• Valid Blasting certificate is essential
• Production Supervisor Training Course is essential
• 3 – 5 years experience as a Trackless Shift Supervisor is essential, preferably Bord and Pillar mining method
• Valid Medical Certificate, or medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate is essential.
• Basic computer literacy is essential.

Engineering Superintendent 

CLOSING DATE: 21 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To plan, direct and coordinate engineering activities in the trackless section to support the mining activities achieve and sustain production targets

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 or N3 is essential.
• Mechanical Trade Certificate is essential.
• N3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a TM3 Foreman is essential.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP) is essential.
• Problem Solving skills (root cause analysis & sound judgement) is essential.
• Organizing and Project Management Skills are essential.
• Valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate.

Trackless Foreman

Closing Date: 30 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Ensure safe, efficient and productive engineering maintenance through the supervision and inspection of subordinate’s daily activities, the overseeing of labor and machinery in the section as well as managing the area to obtain optimum machine and equipment performance and engineering availability while achieving production targets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or NQF4 Equivalent
• Engineering Foreman Certificate with Law and Standards
• Trade Certificate / Certificate of Competence level 3 (Electrical/Mechanical)
• 2-3 Years Post Trade Experience
• 3 Years Supervisory Experience
• 5 Years Underground trackless fleet experience

Clerk – Payrolls

CLOSING DATE: 30.11.2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records and providing customer services to clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Accounting.
• NQF Level 5 certificate in Payroll or Accounting related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 2 years relevant working experience in SAP payroll / accounting environment.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation i.e. Basic Conditions of Employment Act
• Knowledge on SAP payroll systems and processes.

Senior Control Room Operator

CLOSING DATE:  20 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To monitor and control equipment and processes from an A-Class Control Room in a Processing environment in terms of compliance with operational procedures and quality assurance requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12/STD10/NQF Level 4 with Maths and Physical Science or N3(Maths &
• Engineering Science) is essential
• Minimum of 3 years experience in processing plant environment is essential
• Previous relieving or acting experience in a Control Room in the Concentrator
• environment would be considered an advantage

TECHNICAL TRAINER (Engineering)

CLOSING DATE: 18 November 2024

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To provide Skills Development initiatives and continuously improve competency of our workforce in order to satisfy business needs and meet safety & legal requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential.
• Grade 12/ (NQF Level 4) STD10/N3 is essential.
• Mechanical/Electrical trade Test Certificate is essential
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in relevant discipline.
• Certificate Education: Training and Development will be advantageous.
