Responsibilities

•  All warehouse duties with specific focus on offloading and loading of palletised cement, bulk loading
• and offloading, stock / pallets stacking in the yard.
•  Loading transporter vehicles per correct weight distribution for the truck and per Traffic Road Regulations.

•  Reporting breakages and missing bags.
•  Ensuring the correct product type, product packaging and quantity is loaded in accordance with authority to load.
•  Assisting with the re-bagging and repacking of cement as per the set procedures.
•  Operating the forklift to move palletised products within optimal timeframes.
•  Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards.

Experience and Qualifications

•  Grade 12/ Amended Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2 official languages).
•  Forklift driver’s license
•  Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related industry preferably with experience in the operating
• bulk handling equipment, and driving a forklift.
•  Very proficient in operating the bulk handling equipment

Skills and Knowledge

•  Good knowledge of forklift operation
•  Good knowledge of all required Depot safety practices.
•  Good knowledge of safe pallet stacking procedure.
•  Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental risks
