Graduate Programme Objectives

  • Ensure that programme objectives and associated tasks are well understood.
  • Ensure that all phases of the developmental programme are completed within the specified timeframe.
  • Ensure that all queries and concerns associated with the programme and completion thereof are escalated where necessary.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Have a Degree (or higher) when applying for this Internship programme.
  • Only degrees from recognised South-African Universities will be accepted

Requirements

  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Care Centre.
  • Provide a subject verification letter confirming university subjects for GCC Examinations. Correct GCC subjects are mandatory for this training programme.

Discipline Specific Duties

  • Adhere to all company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner.
  • Assist team members in the implementation of initiatives and programmes.
  • Capturing and reporting of information.

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Compile reports and arrange discussion of progress with the appropriate supervisor / development stakeholder.
  • Report all inconsistencies and obstacles.
  • Report and communicate ideas and recommendations. Stakeholder Relations

  • Ensure effective team relationships and support.
  • Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with all stakeholders within the business and communities.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders to gain the necessary business and community context. • Support and promote a positive work environment.

Selection Criteria

  • Applicants must upload proof of residence, CV and certified (SAPS) copies of ID and qualifications online
  • Final allocation is dependent on applicants obtaining an acceptance letter from the University of Johannesburg
  • All applicants will be subject to clearance screening by South African Police Services as required by the National Explosives Act.
