Trainee Program Overview
This trainee program is tailored for individuals eager to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of logistics and transport operations. Throughout the program, participants will:
- Develop Professional Skills: Engage deeply with the logistics and transportation sectors of our business while receiving mentorship to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Assume Responsibility: Quickly take on responsibilities and actively contribute to daily operations, ultimately leading to accelerated career advancements.
Key Responsibilities
As a trainee, you will be integral to our team, performing a variety of essential tasks that include:
- Transport Reconciliation Support:
- Collaborate with transport reconciliation clerks to ensure accurate reconciliation of fuel deliveries in various operational systems.
- Document Management:
- Adhere to the established document management and storage protocols when necessary to maintain operational integrity.
- Coaching Bulk Vehicle Operators:
- Work alongside transport supervisors/trainers to provide guidance and training to Bulk Vehicle Operators (BVOs) on the effective use of Operational Vehicle Controls (OVCs).
- Stock Query Management:
- Address transport stock queries promptly and efficiently to uphold service delivery standards.
- Performance Management Support:
- Assist the transport contract controller in evaluating and managing the performance metrics of transport contractors to ensure alignment with company goals.
Education Requirements
- Educational Qualification: A diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics from a recognized University of Technology is preferred.
- Work Experience: Ideal candidates are encouraged to apply even without prior experience in the field.
