Sappi offers a one-year internship for a recent graduate in Forestry, Plant Pathology, Botany, Entomology or Microbiology to gain real-world experience in managing plantation health. 

Job Purpose

Sappi’s interns are supported by competent and committed mentors, in this instance in our Forestry Research unit.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the job:

• – Participate in plantation health management by doing in-field surveillance.
• – Support Forestry research activities.
• – Complete a Forestry research projec

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

• Bachelors of Science Degree or Advanced Diploma in Forestry, Plant Pathology, Botany, Entomology or Microbiology.
• Good communication skills.
• No prior work experience required.
• Code 8/EB Drivers License
