Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), the role includes:

  • Conducting cycle audits and managing incoming/outgoing deliveries.
  • Coordinating security for third-party vendors.
  • Documenting inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensuring proper execution of warranty processes and destruction of data-bearing devices.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate and updated information within various inventory management systems.
  • Track physical inventory and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Notify management regarding stock shortages and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must pass a Microsoft Cloud background check initially and every two years afterward.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain specifically related to IT, including operating heavy-load movement equipment.
