Requirements

  • Education: Qualification at NQF level 6 in Public Management, Public Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, Management, or Administration recognized by SAQA.
  • Experience: Completion of the Cadet or Internship programme within the Department of Home Affairs is an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of relevant public service frameworks, Civic Services Regulations, fraud prevention, and Batho Pele Principles.

Duties

  • Process civic service applications and issue documents according to standard operating procedures.
  • Administer the provision of documents related to citizenship, births, marriages, deaths, travel documents, and passports.
  • Provide administrative support and address enquiries.
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
  • Implement governance processes and manage resources effectively.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
