Requirements
- Qualification in Law, Public Management, Public Administration, Policing, Criminology, Forensics, or Criminal Justice (NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA)
- Basic understanding of the Refugee Act and Immigration Act
- Knowledge of relevant public service and Departmental Legislative Frameworks
- Valid driver’s license (Code EC) and Public Driver Permit (PDP)
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours

Duties
- Implementing Immigration Services processes and compliance
- Effective enforcement of the Immigration Act
- Detecting, tracing, detaining, and prosecuting illegal foreigners
- Supporting law enforcement investigations and anti-corruption cases
- Conducting investigations of transgressions of immigration and refugee laws
- Monitoring illegal foreign residents and conducting deportation processes
- Managing state property and resources efficiently
- Implementing policies and procedures
