Job Description
As a Finance Graduate at AECI, you will play a pivotal role in supporting daily financial operations and contributing to various financial initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Daily Financial Activities: Assisting in financial transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with company standards.
Financial Statements and Reports: Participating in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports to develop your skills in financial analysis.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborating with the finance team to assist in budgeting and forecasting, offering insights for financial planning.
Projects and Efficiency: Engaging in projects aimed at improving financial efficiency, productivity, and decision-making within AECI.
Financial Data Analysis: Applying your theoretical knowledge to analyze financial data, develop models, and create supporting reports for strategic initiatives.
Audit Preparations: Supporting audits and compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to financial regulations.
Process Improvement: Contributing ideas to enhance and streamline financial processes within the department.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Working closely with other departments to understand the role of finance within AECI’s broader business context.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations, contributing to a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A completed Bachelor of Commerce in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience: 0 – 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Eligibility:
- Must be a South African citizen with no criminal record.
- Age between 18 to 35 years.
- Medically fit.
