Programme Highlights

Position: Finance Graduate
Duration: 1-year Fixed Term Contract
Closing Date for Applications: 13 December 2024
Reporting To: Finance Manager

Main Purpose of the Position:

  • To provide finance administration and support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Finance Team.
  • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with weekly cash ups.
  • Support credit card payments processing.
  • Open and maintain manual files for each event.
  • Reconcile all relevant documentation for each cash up.
  • Assist with credit notes and compile the Credit Note Register.
  • Ensure credit notes are processed in line with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate records, making them readily accessible.
  • Assist with Weekly Trans-cash duties.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Financial Management or Management Accounting.
  • Ability to function effectively under work and time pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal relations with clients and colleagues.
  • Punctual with sound health and self-discipline.
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to collate, update, and maintain information, requiring interpretative skills and understanding of general clerical procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
