Requirements

  • A NQF Level 5 qualification or DHA Qualification: Home Affairs Services at NQF Level 5 as recognized by SAQA.
  • Basic understanding of all departmental legislation and prescripts.
  • Basic knowledge of the public service Regulatory Framework, Batho Pele Principles.
  • A driver’s license will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Render birth and death registration services.
  • Receive notices of birth and supporting documents.
  • Perform online verifications.
  • Capture applications on the National Population Register.
  • Maintain registers and monitor risk.
  • Ensure compliance and provide excellent customer service.
