Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4).
  • Degree/Diploma in Sports Management, Human Movement Science, or relevant qualification.
  • Understanding of MPP Conditional Grant Framework (preferred).
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in a sport and recreation environment (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Experience working with recognized Sport and Recreation Federations (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.

Duties

  • Assist in the organization of Sport and Recreation events.
  • Aid in procurement processes.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and Sport and Recreation seminars.
  • Support in executing all Conditional Grant compliance matters.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, report compilation, and data capturing.
